Now

I know what you're thinking... "What the hell is a Now page?!" Fair question, since you don't see these everywhere. This page is a snapshot of what's happening in my life right now. Think of it like social media, but on my own website.

Baby #1 On The Way

I'm equally excited as I am terrified. I know Lindsey and I will be phenomenal parents, but the drastic life transition cannot be understated. I've been doing as much research as possible, but there is no definitive guide to parenting. I've got a few months to prepare... so in the meantime, I'll continue watching "dad things" on YouTube. Might have to purchase some jorts, high socks, and New Balances to really get inspired.

Learning AI, Code, & Programming

Whether we like it or not, AI is here to stay. And rather than wait for the inevitable downfall of the human species (only slightly kidding), I might as well become an expert. AI has already dominated the digital marketing industry: PPC, SEO, content creation, you name it. One topic often overlooked when discussing AI is data. Models are only as good as the data you feed it. That's why I'm learning everything I can about server-sider rendering, self-hosted LLMs, open APIs, and local SQL databases.

I'm Kinda a Kindle Dude Now

I can't remember the last time I read a book from start to finish. As a matter of fact, I absolutely hate reading... but I love learning. So what better way to form a new habit then spending $200 and forcing myself to enjoy it? I'm building this new habit with the last book I remember enjoying: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

Living Out My Dream as a Mob Boss

Minus all the crime, murder, and unethical behavior. I've been playing Mafia: The Old Country. It takes place in early 1900s Sicily and I've been really enjoying the gameplay, story, characters, and overall immersive gameplay.

DIY Home Projects, Starting with... Grass?

We moved into our home a few years ago and as much as I love it, it definitely needs some updates. Now that we've been here for an extended period of time, we've narrowed down the big projects we want to tackle this year and beyond. The first one for me was my weed infested lawn. I scorched the entire backyard and laid down some fresh, Bermuda sod. It looks great! Stay tuned for more home updates.
